Umbria has been blessed with extraordinary natural beauty. Dominated with picturesque forests and rolling valleys whose colors change with the seasons, Umbria has been dubbed Italy’s “green heart.”

Sip wines that were enjoyed by popes and nobles during Renaissance.

Filled with historical villages and art towns, it is also known for its green hills where during the right season you can often see people harvesting figs, grapes or olives.  Among the delicacies to try in this region is the white and black truffle, their saffron and the delicious lentils from Castelluccio located at the border between Umbria and Marche.
